Effective September 4, 2026. Best Cat for Me is an independent digital service designed to collect only the information needed to provide and protect purchased reports.
Information we process
We process quiz answers and a random session identifier to prepare a personalized report. If you purchase a report, we process purchase and report records, payment references, transaction amount and currency, and the email address supplied through checkout. We also process essential security and recovery records, including hashed access credentials. You do not need to create an account.
How we use information
We use this information to generate reports, confirm payments, provide access and email recovery, prevent abuse, troubleshoot delivery, maintain transaction records, and measure essential service operation. We do not use quiz answers to make medical decisions.
Service providers
- Cloudflare provides hosting, application runtime, security, and database infrastructure.
- Creem processes payments and acts as Merchant of Record or payment seller where applicable.
- Resend delivers transactional report-recovery emails.
Each provider processes information for its stated role under its own applicable terms and privacy practices. We do not claim that information never crosses borders, is completely anonymous, or can be made absolutely secure.
Cookies and secure links
We use essential cookies and short-lived, single-use links to protect checkout returns and report recovery. Report and recovery tokens are stored as cryptographic hashes rather than plaintext credentials.
Retention and requests
